A single tree in a field for Earth Day

Happy Earth Day!

"We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children." Native American Proverb

My great grandmother was from the Lenni Lenape nation and when I was a child my mother would take us to the Seneca reservation.

I learned how to do my bead work from Rainbow Weaver, enjoyed the sweat lodge and learned how to honor mother earth and to hug trees by Twila.

I was taught that everything we do in this world we should consider the next 7 generations and how it will affect them.

On this Earth Day may we all think about the 7 generations to come and how we can leave this planet in a wonderful state for our future generations.

Have a wonderful day.
